For the past five years I have mainly been shooting music videos due to the fact that a) the arse has fallen out of the industry - b) most of them are the worst clients you could ever deal with, I’ve got out of it. I’ve been moving on to virals/ comedy/ corporates. I found DP when researching the viral market and trying to pimp my own comedy products. I’ve decided to post a proposition for you guys. I get the feeling that the general consensus is that video can really help your clients. Backlinks to their sites through YouTube etc… and short viral pieces that contain their branding. I also found working for my own clients and labels that no-one is watching TV (under 25) traditional methods of marketing/ advertising are shifting to the internet/ viral. My current clients like constant updating and quick turnaround products. I want to reach out and find some of you guys to work with. The easier the product is to put together the lower the cost, my industry can be heavy on manpower wages. Short comedy, green screen, easy locations, one/ two actors are go. Big explosions heavy FX will cost us all. I’m looking at quick turnaround profits so that everyone will be happy. I’m optimising my corporate business video site as we speak.
