UK Traffic , has yours dropped during School holidays?

I just wondered if those of you with UK sites have found that your traffic dropped at the start of the School/Summer Holidays...

2 of my UK sites had a 75% traffic drop at the start of the School summer holidays and I am trying to figure out if this is a seasonal thing and will soon return to normal..

Err, most of my traffic does come from UK. I have felt a small drop. Like, if I posted ABC before- I might have got 10000 views for that article. Now I get 5000 for the same kind.

 

Traffic dropped during August, everybody is on vacations. :/

 

my sites traffic faces the same problem... Hope this changes soon...

Surely it'd go up? Because they arn't in school. Unless your site is a school orientated site (and so used by people in schools as part of the course or something)

I too thought the traffic would go up but I now think that many people must be using the internet when they are at work, 2 of my sites are search sites so cover every type of niche.. both sites are independant and the loss of traffic was exactly the same for each site.. 2 other sites I have for different niches have shown the exact same percentage of traffic loss also .. all sites started to lose traffic the day after School holidays started... this is either due to a cross the board algorithm change or the holidays ... this is why I was wondering how other folk were doing.. if it is the School holidays things should start to pick up next week... I will post what I see happening..
