    PLATFORM:

    The site runs on Joomla 1.0.15 using Fireboard as the embedded Forum. The Joomla core could easily be upgraded to 1.5xx and Fireboard upgraded to Kuena (open source forum platform) however, the current combination has been stable enough for me not to worry about this.

    REVENUE OPPORTUNITY:

    Being a Joomla based site means that you have an unlimited opportunity to display Adsense, affiliate links, or whatever you want.
