1st off, not sure if i spelt contradiciting correct or not, but i think you know what i mean.. after reading some things about what adults/teens can do is rather funny due the fact you can legally have sexual intercourse at 16, yet cant watch porn till 18? Solution: Have sex with your eyes closed? another one is at 16 you can legally leave home yet you cant buy a house till your 18? Solution: Live on the streets? you can leave home at 16 as mentioned above, but if you have your own place, you cant get Asda delivary as you need to be 18 to accept it? why? just why? please post up any more laws like this!
Poor people pay more income tax than the rich. Banks can rob people and not get sent to jail but everyone else can. The people are made to pay global warming tax instead of the companies producing products. The police can cover their face on the street but Muslim women can not! The Government allows for harmful chemicals in peoples food / water, dog food has less chemicals. Smoking kills but cigarettes don't get banned!

Ah hem, anti smokers - while it should be a crime to smoke around others and put them at harm, surely what one does to their own body is entirely their business and not yours? Just make it compulsory for smokers to pay for private health cover - then leave them alone. Unless you wish to live in a dictatorship/nanny state where you are not allowed to do anything the government deems a health risk. Also Grimm - it's not the only consumer product. Alcohol is a leading cause of various long term adverse effects on health as well as short term effects for not only the drinker but those they come into contact with. (Not all drinkers, obviously - just as not all smokers get sick.) Drunks get in fights more frequently, drink drive and kill others in that way, etc. >.<' I know some people might like the idea of simply banning things they don't like or consider to be harmful, but stop and think about what OTHERS consider harmful. Video games, for one thing. Certain music for another. I'll stick with libertarianism thank you very much!
Great point Fastreplies If these people ban cigs, are they going to throw a bitch fit when every single food and drink with sugar, fat or alcohol is abolished? Mouth wash has alcohol. What about petrol? Addicts sniff it - also glue and paint. We will get rid of paint, glue and petrol too? Or swimming pools? People drown you know! Hell - why not water altogether? Ban tobacco? Who are you kidding? Here in Canada government has been collecting 5 Billion dollars every year in T. taxes but according to stats it cost them only 2 Billions in health cost to take care of people who are having lungs cancer, 30% of which BTW never smoke, leaving them 3 Billions in profit. If I was Public, I would worry more what would happen if people stop smoking and who is going to pay tax revenues government will loose as result. How would you non-smokers like to pick up that tab and start paying taxes government in habit to collect instead of us smokers? I smoke but I would rather have them banned as its hard to give up banning this would also stop the next generation from smoking, it would be easier to give up too if you can't get them. In Ireland one pack of 20 costs €8.50, €3.20 is the cost before Government tax cigarettes are only around because of the money our Governments make from us smoking.

Alright! Let's get into this! @Audimad - Ask your doctor for something called CHAMPIX. Your smokes are cheap as fuck - I imagine there is low incentive to quit. Champix will help you when you are ready. (I'm serious. This is no patch or mint - it works. It isn't nice, but it WILL do it for you.) @Fastreplies - you're right on as always, brother! @Grimm - Someone I knew called the suicide hotline afraid she'd be fired because of bruises from her husband. Their advice? Try a thick sweater. She has left him now, but fuck - I have no faith in them. We need to be promoting individual freedoms; smoking shouldn't be banned - smoking around non smokers; sure - kids? Should be a 5 year term - but alone? No one's business but our own. Smokers need private health cover; and responsible people have it already - I know I do - I know many others do too. Those who don't support it need to realize that smokers are the only middle class people paying for the government's debts - in any and every country. Oh, and Grimm - you are young; cut down if you wont quit. Smoking harms people your age more so than fully developed adults; I'm not judging, I smoke - hell, I am smoking right now, and drinking, lol - but seriously - wait until you are older, man. I just recently stopped for 8 months and just got back again and I'm thinking of stopping for a couple of months again and focus on gaining weight! XD
