Hi, We have created two websites with Joomla and Virtuemart. We're running into massive issues with setting up the UK (Great Britain) VAT (tax) settings on our store. Some of our products are zero rated (0% VAT) and some of our products are 15% VAT rated. We have over 9000 products. We need the products to display to the front end customer the bottom line total price they pay....and the cart to show (of which includes £x.xx VAT) on the VAT applicable items. We do not want the VAT status to change on the weight, or shipping address of the customer. In attempting to fix this issue with Joomla and Virtuemart we have encountered multiple issues... 1) 15% added to the total price of an item marked at 0% VAT 2) The cart calculating the VAT incorrectly. 3) Frontend displaying either the price NOT including VAT, or including VAT, but then adding it to items marked at 0% In attempting to hack the Joomla code, I have managed to disrupt one site eniterly and it no longer loading at all. I am attempting to re-install from a previous back up. Does anybody out there have sufficient knowledge of Joomla and Virtuemart to offer us assistance urgently?
