The UK Government is about to pass a law which will potentially cause 7 million prosecutions of teenagers illegally downloading films and music in the UK. I am extremely worried about this!

Fines of up to 50,000 will be implemented on the parents of teenagers caught illegally downloading in the UK. The government estimates that from their surveillances up to 1 in 12 people in the uk (7 million people) will be prosecuted.

What do you all think of this. It is like a big brother state!!!!

I'd like to see a link. Somehow I cant imagine a floundering government threatening 7 million people with prosecution as a rault of legislation they are introducing.
