You're right - we better get in there now and stop them. Essentially, letting terrorists get hold of a nuclear bomb is a bad idea...

Is this the same way that you stopped North Korea or Iraq?

May be because it is counter productive to USA's national interests.

Not for gworld. He seems to support terrorists having nuclear weapons rather openly.

Looks like one of gworld's buds has changed sides :)

Hey, commando -- sorry if I got you upset, but you don't have to be rude. Yes, I know, this is the internet and you can say what you want. I am sorry I ever responded to what is nothing less than an empty thread.

when the nuke debate came about, it was agreed that the nations that had them can keep them, but not make any more than the numbers they had, in fact to get rid of some old ones they made the figure a little lower then they already had.
the ones they were left with, are allowed to be replaced, because of the deterrent value they have.
so the UK is just replacing some older ones with newer once, we will still have the same amount. when the old ones are scrapped.

as for nutters having them, well not a chance. they shouldn't have them. they will just make the world more unstable as it is.
as to Iran, it's simple, improve your human rights and neighborhood relations and you have nothing to worry about.

Variole? I've never heard of that before. You mean Smallpox? Wash your mouth out - there's no way Britain would every develop such a nasty and heinous weapon ;)
