UK eCommerce hosting recommendations

    I hope this is the right section for this query.

    I'm in the process of evaluating hosting for an ecommerce site that will open shortly.

    Even though I'll probably use a third party PSP gateway for credit card processing I can't rule out the possibility of running SSL with the required dedicated IP address and doing this myself.

    If anyone could point me in the direction of a reliable hosting company in the UK that provide 99%+ uptime with the option of running https I'd be grateful.

    I intend running a Joomla template with Virtuemart. Any thoughts on this combination?

    I suggest you use the hosting that specialize for ecommerce site such as
    hostway.co.uk/enterprise/enterprise.asp

    You can go for bodhost.com they have 100% uptime and support is Too good. and in business since 10 years.
