    Hi,

I do not have too much details at the moment of the job, but basically what is required is a redesign of my works website, I was going to do it, but I have too much things on at work so I don't have time. You can see the current website here: http://www.fairhurst.co.uk

Here are some screenshots of the current design if the website doesn't load for you

    Home/Splash Page:

    Company Profile Page
    [IMG]

Services Page (as you saw in the last screenshot the menu wasn't expanded, now it is, this happens when Services is clicked on.)

As you can see it's not very good, and a very old design. I am not sure when it was first done but it was done before I joined the company.

    About The Company
W A Fairhurst & Partners is the largest private partnership of Consulting Engineers in the UK, working from 14 principal offices and employing around 470 staff in total, but with further presence within other offices through partnering arrangements with various contractors / clients.

The Firm continues to grow in strength and depth and now works in virtually all buildings and civil engineering sectors, offering its multi-disciplinary services to clients for projects of all sizes.

The diverse range and size of projects undertaken allows considerable cross fertilisation of knowledge, expertise and experience and the success of the firm is demonstrated by its considerable repeat business, by the awards won, and by the many prestigious projects completed.

This success is recently evidenced by such cutting edge projects as the strengthening of the Forth Road Bridge and by the Science Centre and Imax Cinema development in Glasgow.

This would be a great addition to your portfolio.

You may need to know some PHP as well, but I should be able to help you out with that if you don't know any .

    The only requirements are:
    -You must be UK based
-You must write valid XHTML/CSS code (maybe some PHP as said above)
    -No Flash

Please PM me/Post a link to your portfolio if you meet these requirements.

This will ofcourse be a paid job, it may be on-going as well.

    Thank You,
    Iain

hmm... it is working, but it's just loading extremely slowly.. we don't deal with the hosting another company does.. I guess they are having server problems...

either way if you are interested, pm/post your portfolio link :)

Thank you Scott, I don't think there is a great hurry :)
