The rest of you reading this had better pay close attention to what browntwn
posted above. Is it worth the risks believing those who tell you to fight such
actions when it's your arse on the line?

What lilquit's going through is a valuable lesson for everyone here. Those who
don't feel they're at risk are free to ignore this, but those among you who feel
it can happen to you had better take note what's happened so far.

If I were to sum up the "most important lesson" from this, it's "respect goes a
long way". Respect a party's established rights, and they'll likely respect yours
    as well.

A thousand pardons, then. Hopefully lilquit does know that.

I would take the offer they gave if possible. They pretty much have you trapped in a corner and are giving you an opportunity to get out. Don't push it too far, they may just force your domain to be handed over and no $50.

I'd definitely take the $50 and hand over the domain to them. They are being VERY generous even offering you any money for the domain. They can just as simply sue you for TM infringement and leave it to their lawyers to sort out.

I've recieved several of these, mainly from sports entertainment companies. The first time I handed a few domains over, the next 3 or 4 I didn't respond and nothing was ever done. Half the time they are just covering their ass to show that they did try to protect their trademark.
