Some are close to reality Earl........ They have a right to think that way, it is good that we understand what they think of us, the United States has a lower image in the eyes of other nations than China does! http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=ch...ch&fr=FP-tab-web-t-336&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8 They are viewed more favorably even by European nations than the USA is! http://pewglobal.org/commentary/display.php?AnalysisID=104 ........................................................................................................
yes that is true ... but there is other side of the medal. Lets ask us europeans where would we rather live ... in china or usa ?
I was noticing some other sites that feature similar cartoons of pure hatred from the Arab world. CNN is scared out of it's mind. Their site features: "CNN has chosen to not show the cartoons out of respect for Islam." Yet they have a history of running stories/pictures offensive to Christians. They should be honest and say "fear" instead of "respect." Respect should be earned through deeds, not fear. I think the world is getting another wakeup call and fortunately this time, it didn't involve blowing up trains, buses, hotels, planes, flying planes into buildings or people getting their heads chopped off. Even the usual apologists can't make (rational) excuses for this mob behavior.
GTech just can't see that Bush policy has caused hatred of America and it has not made us safer, but that is GTech logic, sort of the logic of Hitler who was also "a good follower of the faith" Kill em all, right GTech, Hitler tried, hell the Republicans can do the same all the while turning the entire world to hatred of America and leading to WWIII
AC, you are correct, I don't see this having anything to do with "Bush policy." Nor do I see any mention, among the reported chants of "Behead those that insult islam," "death to infidels," "Europe, your 9/11 is coming." I'm not obecessed with Hitler as you are AC. I'm sure you have your reasons for giving Hitler so much respect, but I just don't get it. Maybe you admired the way he treated Jews? In the mean time, this started in Denmark and actually has nothing to do with the US. Whose products are threatened to be boycotted? Not even you can rewrite history so soon. I appreciate the fact that you hate the USA, Christians and Jews so much. You have that right and exercise it frequently. It serves your mentality well.
You should be a comedy writer instead of a poor Republican propagandist GTech, you know I love it when you fabricate false statements and get a great laugh out of your claiming I hate the people of the God I believe in. The shame in it all is the fact that you know this, yet you still create lies unto your own destruction as you promote your filthy Republican pathological propaganda lies on this forum and the world! I do enjoy the friendship and interaction as always though, even though you have fatal character defects my friend that hurt not only yourself but the American people!
We should all follow the good example that the Muslims are leading, they would never ever do something as evil as making cartoons that are poking fun at other religions, races, ethnic groups or any such thing. http://www.v7n.com/forums/showpost.php?p=254291&postcount=79
Well it seems violence hit in Denmark too, a hotdog vendor was approched by two turks, who asked for 2 hotdog breads and when the vendor reached out of his booth to deliver them, they grabbed his hands and smashed them with a baseball bat, while yelling "danish pig, you sell unclean meat". I think I'll go have me a couple of hotdogs for lunch tomorrow.
Yeah, they do have the right to think that way. They also have the right to create such ads and cartoons as the Danish news paper did. These people are like out of control ADHD children. You can't just go around burning down buildings because you're offended by a silly cartoon. The problem is, the majority of these people are very uneducated and all they really have is this book the karan or whatever it is. It's all they know. It's their governments fault for not helping them to better their education and realize there is more to life than some silly ass book and beheadings. I feel sorry for them in some ways. Plus you have these people teaching a corrupt version of the karan telling the young men if they blow them self up, they will be rewarded with 13 virgins or whatever. The whole thing is very silly. Imagine for a second if some newspaper created a cartoon about Jesus here in the U.S. Now of course people would be all bent out of shape about it, but certainly no buildings would be burned, people beheaded, and so on. These people have no balance of religion and common sense.
Religion is such a bad thing. Look at the problems in the world, 95% are because of religion, either directly or indirectly. Religion causes WAY more problems than helps. Religion should just be done away with.
Like what? Maybe we should invade those countries and teach them democracy, is that what you deduct from this if does not make it obvious we should stay the hell out of the middle east, I really don't know what would. Backwards medival people who want to stay that way. heres one of the cartoons Never under estimate the power of cartoons
Okay I have to jump in here and inform you that you have absolutely no clue about what you're talking. What did you read the dusk jacket of Hitler's Pope in Barnes and Nobles? Off topic, but I've seen some of the Al-Qaida training videos. When they're training recruits the "dummies" that they're shooting with ak47s have giant red Christian crosses on their chests. But so called "true" muslims can't even draw images of the human form, so it's kinda hard to compare actually.
He is not telling untruths, the Catholic church and Nazi Germany had deep connections, the Nazi party is still active to this day in modern politics too!
Nazi party has roots in current Islamic Extremism. "muslim brotherhood" Is your statement correct? Somewhat.
Anthony, The interaction between the Nazi party and the Catholic church during WWII was more complicated than "deep connections." Yes, Pius the XII has been decried by many as "Hitler's Pope". But if you actually read the rebuttles to that thesis, they're actually quite solid. The Church and the pope made some serious mistakes during that era, but it also did more good than any other religious organization during that time as well. Heck, just read a biography of the life of John Paul II, and you'll see what the catholic resistance movement was all about. I've read quite a great deal about the topic. One of my good friends in College ( a protestant) did his master's thesis attempting to usurp the authority of the pope by pointing to the actions of Pius XII. And yes, the Nazis were able to court quite a few Muslim leaders during the WWII era do to the shared hatred of jews.
