So today I come to the office, login to my google analytics account, check www.funforever.net and am like WHAAAA? I used to have 1-2k per day from Google. Now it's like 20-30!!! Those keywords are like funforever.net or fun forever, people searching for my site. All of my top content links were dropped from Google. I think it's because of the ads, as I placed an ad below the header and at the top of the sidebar. Can anyone verify this? I've already changed the ad layout to the way it was, hoping to get the traffic back up. But damn.
ads have nothing to do with serps or keyword rankings. many websites have serp problems for 1 month now due to the last Google Update and it seems that this update didn't end so you might wait a bit. I suggest you don't change anything to your website seo related
the one reason might be the main keyword from which you get traffic might have been drooped from serps ranking
I think you should research for more keywords and target for other popular keywords too rather than stick with one.
I've heard a lot of times that Google and every major search engines to this from time to time. This is because they are constantly updating themselves, so many people will face this dillema. Sometimes it can take week and even months to get back on track. This is a glitch on their part, so don't panic......well not too much.
So this happens from time to time? 2 weeks and no site of pages getting back to index. Odd. I don't recall doing anything bad.
yes it used to happen. I think it is better you start building backlink for your keyword and optimize your site for better result. Good luck
this happened to me as well. one of my sites which depended on google search disappeared for a week. glad it came back though. dont worry it should be back soon.
many websmasters are reporting crazy serps. they say Dewey update was over some time ago, but many webmasters were hit and are still way down in the SERPS for no reason, myself included. anyway, whatever the problem is, work on your seo, link building and have patience..unfortunately edit: 1 month passed till i was hit and no changes here..no blackhat, no spam and 2 year old domain with good ranking..so..
Check your links. Are the mostly from article /directories etc... Google seems to be catching up on non quality links fast
I agree with arjun316 - the one reason might be the main keyword from which you get traffic might have been drooped from serps ranking
