Ugh. I think I have messed up already.

Ok so I am fairly new to this adsense gig. This forum is like a gold mine though, I figure if I study these forums for a couple of months while writing great copy (perhaps the English degree MIGHT come in handy now and really won't be a waste of my father's hard earned money!) I could do something here. I have had a personal blog for years now so it was super easy to get an adsense account which was fantastic.

Here is when I do the dumb thing though.

So while I was playing around with my adsense code (like putting it in my blog on blogger) I kept hitting preview to see how the adsense would look on my page. Stupid right? I did it about 6 times before I came across the thread on precautions when previewing adsense on your page.

Do you think this will throw up a red flag at Google? What should my course of action be or is there really one?

What's wrong with previewing? Just remember not to click on the ads.

As long as you weren't clicking on your ads I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok cool. I am such a dork. I didn't know if the jump in page impressions from the same IP address would make them hate me.

Again, I am new and treading carefully.

I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you don't click.

Since some sites get paid through CPM ads, the chance to have "invalid impressions" is there. It is a slim one, though, and I honestly can't see how a CPM ad paying $10 per thousand impressions would really care about 6/1000 refreshes (about 6 cents revenue).

I still disable ads when I review my sites (I use a browser tool to do it). No point in making a mistaken click, right?

When I add fresh content I review the page 10-20 times. Adsense knows people do this.

Since whatever sites get paid finished CPM ads, the possibleness to screw "injure impressions" is there. It is a turn one, tho', and I frankly can't see how a CPM ad paying $10 per 1000 impressions would real repair roughly 6/1000 refreshes (most 6 cents income).

I allay modify ads when I inspect my sites (I use a browser way to do it). No portion in making a incorrect clack, justice?
