Ugh! Dead Mouse Smell

I think one of my neighbours must have left some mouse poison around (or the recent cold spell has been killing them off) but there's a horrible smell of death all along my corridor - from the front door to the kitchen:eek: I think there's got to be more than 1!!

Luckily there's an aromatherapy shop down the road that's open on a Sunday. I've got honeysuckle incence sticks burning and will soon start on the peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender essential oils.

I think I've got about 3 days of torture ahead of me:(

Does anyone else have mice problems? Here in London we're apparently never more than 10 feet away from a RAT, I'm sure it must be a much smaller distance for mice:eek:

Oh wow, 150 dead mice is alot!

One of the problems with rodents is that they breed (& mature) quickly. So even when you've seen off one generation there's another not far behind.

That is an old article. This is still going on over there to the degree of men is white suits going in and investigating.

The farming over there has also destroyed one of the most popular and largest recreation lakes in Florida, Lake Apopka.

The nitogen and other chemical run off has over run the lake with algea and aquatic weeds and caused birth defects and frog, turtles and gators IIRC.

It's kinda sad being within a reasonable distance to the place.

There's a similar lake griffin up here by me with the same story. Major lake elimianted from use by the pubic. What's even sadder is the lack of news coverage. They figure 15 to 25 years to clean it up. So, after the initial fanfare, the media forgets it, the locals have removed it from their lists of usable lakes and it's forgoten.

    But I'm getting off topic.

    Good luck with the mice.

    OMG that is so bad.

I'm surprised that's allowed to happen in the US. I thought people there were really up on environmental issues. And businesses are usually keen to protect their image - how could they be polluting the lakes like that?

As for the mice, thanks I need all the luck I can get. Especially as I've got quite a phobia when it comes to them, never mind the hygiene issues they just make my skin crawl!

Well that's London crossed off my 'to do' list ... Rats and mice make me jump up on a chair and squeal like a girl.

Push a few snakes under you neighbour's door.
We've had plenty of snakes here this summer, and pretty much no mice.
