I've been a member for a while. Just tried to post in the link exchange forum. Said, I needed 10 posts in the website review forum. Tried to post there - and didn't have permissions to do that. So what's the deal???? Seems like the restrictions are a bit tight or mal-formed if you ask me. ( I know you didn't ask me, but that's IMHO ). Ugh, Len PS and BTW it's OK that I get SPAM delivered to my PM inbox, that takes jumping through hoops to delete. Seems like you're forced to read the message before you can delete it. Maybe it's me, but this forum seems a bit difficult to deal with. I love it, and would participate more were it not for silly things that (for me) make it un-friendly.
read the site rules for new users, you need a certain amount of posts to qualify posting in buy/sell/trade section. The reason for this i think is it stop random people just coming here to spam then running off, the forum asks you to get used to the environment on this forum and bcome familiar with it before you can post in BST section. Personally i think it's a good rule to have, you can always post here in general chat and make some useful posts.
Well, that sort of makes some sense. Since I have nothing to buy, sell, or trade, I guess I'll need to either make something up, or go away. Or stick with the chat. Sorry, I'm not getting it.
you can post in the BST once you've familiarized yourself here, it doesn't take long at all. IF you don't understand something just make a post and ask it'll get you a step closer to posting in BST plus it'll improve your knowledge about the forum.
Read the rules you neeed atleast 10 posts for freebies and 25 for BST i guess , not sure ...still check it out.
