I freaking hate this!!! it has been 7 months since i started affiliate marketing. Since then i have only made one freakin sale. this is soooo friggin stupid. right now i dont know what to do. I have tried ppc failed. I have tried article marketing, failed. I had tried list building, failed.

I am going out of my mind seems as though i just cannot convert anything in to sales.

Im only 17 and my head is spinning right now. I can just barely start anything as right now going to school and then work then hmw. but that is no excuse

It doesnt matter how targeted the traffic is that I send it just does not seem to convert. All i want is enough money to pay for university but i can brely make $100.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I even tried to launch a product, got it all set up, put up my landing page and geuss what clickbank says. They no longer accept the kind of product which I wanted to sell. I just want to cry right now!

May I ask what markets your working on?

edit: With CB I've never had success, but what I've found works. Is creating a website based on the product, doing SEO/PPC to your landing page? Not sure if your doing that or not...

Maybe your traffic isn't so targeted after all? Is it all PPC?

i went through a bunch of different ones from money making to muscle bulding, downloading programs, and 2 or 3 more. I have also tried SEO could not land in top 10 if my life depended on it.

Is bidding on product keywords not targeted?

How about showing us exactly what you are doing. If you are having trouble getting ranked, show your site and maybe people in the forum can give you some SEO tips. If you haven't made any sales from affiliate promotions then, explain how you are promoting your site. It might be your landing page copy or your PPC campaign, but who knows until we get more information to help you.

gives us some examples of your product. One thing is that its also good to learn from mistakes. If something doesnt convert - it doesnt convert. get over it and move on. I can tekll you more if you tell us what you promote, what KW you used, what market etc. If it were that easy, everyone would make lots of money. Its NOT, respective it takes a long time to find the "right" way to go. It also took me months and months and months to get my first checks coming in.

My advice-- Find a new niche. One that has nothing to do with computers or Internet or making money. That market, in my opinion, is very saturated and can only be tackled by people who really know what they're doing.

Choose-- football or coin collecting or puppies or gardening or travel or boating or teaching (see my signature) or whatever. Just stay away from the oversaturated markets that everyone's fighting for. And promote products that the average person would REALLY want.

And then, instead of PPC, create a good niche website. Very specific. Optimize your site to target one or two very specific keyword phrases.

Put adsense on your site so you get a little income from it. And add some clickbank affiliate links too.

Then... spend a little free time every week building backlinks and adding content.

Once you have a respectable site with some traffic, you can sit back and relax. Clickbank and adsense money will come rolling in with very little effort.

Trust me. I do it. It works. It took me several months before I was making any "decent" money.... it was a lot of hard work, but I'm glad I did it. It really works.

    Good luck.

making money, muscle building AND download programs.... all of which are saturated

Try something with less competition and something that people need... not want..

I was in similar position few months ago, and do you know what I did?

I've set up an Adwords campaign for a really low competition product.

Think different, be different, be smart.

Don't start advertising "make money" products, like millions do. Don't even go for "lose fat" or "build muscle". Unless you are an EXPERT in Adwords, you will lose money.

Try bum marketing as writing articles won't cost you a penny and you can test out different things for free instead of spending all your money on things you don't know will work.

go for LOW gravity poducts, like under 10. this means low competition, low number of ads, low costs.

congrats on the sale I am assuming the lens is from squidoo, which just became one of my favorite sites. You got to just keep trying new things and not giving up, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. We all have rough times online. You'll eventually find success online, you sound dedicated enough.
