Great to see it converts but the conversion ratio doesn't look very good?

 

LOL! The website just launched and it's currently in the testing phase to increase our
affiliates bottom line. You can almost guarantee that it will convert simi targeted traffic
in this percentage because this is the result of a test emailing from an affiliate.

Is there anyone that has questions, concerns or comments besides terryd?

I cant see whats funny, you said in your original post it converts very well but are now saying its just in testing. Which is it?

There will constantly be testing going on of different aspects of the sales process.
The traffic sources tested right now are converting between 0.5-1.1%...

Which in my opinion is good knowing that the site is 1 week old with little
tweaks of the original sales page to boost conversions.

So is it the greatest converting product on CB...

Probably not...

Is it the greatest converting UFO product on the internet?....

YES and conversion will only get better with upsells and alternate video sales page...

I was asking perfectly legitimate questions as an prospective affiliate.

So all those sales are from one affiliate with a list, great so I'd expect the real conversion rate to be even lousier than it currently is.....

Nice to see you are trying to get affiliates to be your guinea pigs while you try and get your conversion rates up instead of having your crap sorted before you launch it......

If you think the conversion rate is not superior and fantastic...

Simply don't promote it and move on...

sarcastic, prick responses that make him feel good

And you still haven't answered the questions about your lousy conversion rate or the fact that you want people here to be your testers instead of testing your product and spending your own money before bringing it to market.......

You have an interesting niche here but attacking potential affiliates is not the way to go about recruiting potential affiliates.

terryd asked a legitimate question... most successful vendors test their products first, tweak, test some more, tweak, etc. Once they get it where they want it by maximizing conversions, then they announce to affiliates.

Conversion rates don't look great. The good news is that it converts. Gives you something to work with. I'm sure a video on the sales page would increase conversions but once again that should be tested before launch.

It can be hard when you put a lot into a product to not get upset when someone says something but it would be best for you IMO to accept criticism even more so than compliments.

I was considering testing your product to one of my lists (and still might) but I can tell you honestly that I am less inclined to do so after seeing your reactions here.

I hope you take this as it is intended ... a gentle nudge from an experienced vendor/affiliate. Best of luck.

But I gotta tell you, terryd is no troll; in fact he's been vetting CB products for quite some time.

This is a business, and all affiliates make an investment (in their own way) when they promote your product. They have a legitimate right and self-imposed duty to do their due diligence.

I highly recommend you answer the best you can and avoid defensive postures.

Gentle nudges are cool and respected by experienced CB vendors and affiliates.

You have a right to promote whatever product and vendor you choose...

Successful vendors bring great products to the marketplace with copy that
best describe the product being sold, matched by a marketing campaign to
push the message and product to the masses.

We have a great product and copy that sales...

Not at 4% yet but we are converting prospects into
customers along with a couple of other affiliates who
are accomplishing the same thing with their website.

We hope you would look at this thread in a different perspective
and change your mind. Seeing that you are a potential affiliate in a simular
niche, we would probably do better working together than not.

But if you decide to not promote this product we have no choice
but to respct your decision and keep doing business without you
as painful as it is.

I've already answered terryd's question and I'll answer it here again since some potential affiliates
seem to have missed my reply in post #8...

The website just launched but the copy and product is completely finished and ready to accept members.
So it's live and taking orders and in "copy testing phase" all at the same time.

How?

Most websites that sell a product stay in this phase because testing never ends.
The copy is being tweaked as we speak and will be for the remainder of this
products lifetime.
