Not exactly excited, to tell the truth, but I do admit my ignorance: I haven't seen any match by Zenit since ages, so maybe I'm going wrong... Coat of arm would lead to Glasgow Rangers, anyway Zenit being able to win 4-0 against Bayern Munchen has tomean something! Final consideration: playing in the UK might have a decisive weight... I'll say Rangers, but I guess Zenit will make a great match !
Zenit - and the current tournaments top goalscorer - is out for the match, suspended. Great news. We also have the majority of our team fit now, with a few first teamers lacking fitness or out injured. It's going to be close, but we'll pull through and bring the cup back to Scotland.
poor rangers... they had it coming! they played first half with so little interest in the game, barely getting out of their half!
Rangers held up fantastically with a super strong defence. Only a bad decision by the referee in the first half to deny Rangers a stone wall penalty changed the direction of the game. Firstly Zenit took the lead. Then Zenit wrapped the game up with an offside goal.
