"Major" companies don't need to register company.com: Dell for example is a trademark so dell.com has automatic protection. The same goes for most, but not the homes.com generic names.
Exactly - cjaccardi has no clue about trademark law. He would have you believe that he is right, and Microsoft, Dell, Apple, Intel, etc., and their teams of IP attorney's are clueless and have it all wrong. What else can you expect from someone who can't even spell lawsuit.
