Heh, you would have been a millionaire (ignoring taxes). Ah, well I guess that is fairly good data. In my book, you don't get a vote if you only have one sentence in your post.
I use Linux Mint and its just great, looks some what like Ubuntu. I like how you can easily install programs, what you can do on Linux is endless. Unlike Windows.
I tried ubuntu for the first time by installing 10.10... after 30 mins I already formatted the hdd again! its not for me... :/
Yeah, were you expecting to find a Windows clone? You didn't even give it time. I'm sure in that time you didn't install all the codecs and tried some of the softwares. You just made that decision because it is different from Windows?
I have Ubuntu and Windows on my computer. I am using windows for couple of programs for the rest I'm using Ubuntu. Ubuntu is free, faster, you don't need to have drivers for reinstalation.
If I were to choose, I would still go with Windows mainly because it has supported many platforms. As for the Ubuntu I will go with this choice If I were to learn from the two.
If you want a secure Platform then use ubuntu and if you want a less secure and user friendly platform then use Windows...
Best in terms of comparing against other Linux distribution. But, I don't think it's the best operating systems. It depends on the need and requirement.
