This company uber.com is trying to get me to have my site hosted there, and they say that they can deliver traffic and will help sell ads. They're 18 months old, but they seem to have only really started building themselves aggresively recently. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about them?
i would not host my site with company that are only 18 months old. what if you spend all the time and money developing website and getting high rank, and build customer trust, and they suddenly disappear! they can deliver traffic? how much traffic! hows the quality! those $1 for 1000 unique visitors, who never have a chance to see your site?!?!?! there are many reliable, affordable web hosting out there who offer free google adwords credits, and yahoo credits, like $50 from each search engine, that is quality traffic!
I have been using Uber very actively for the last 6 months, and I have also noticed they've become more aggressive lately as far as marketing and getting the word out. I assume this is because the site improves each day and they've gotten to a place where they really want to advertise the site. I know many people who use the site for their official website and I have heard nothing but positive things from them. I don't think this site is going anywhere for a long, long time. I would definitely recommend using them.
