Thats a great Idea, why not take the Billions spent on a retarded war in Iraq and use it to feed Africa instead.

Thats what America SHOULD be doing.

    Well said buddy.

Africa is the forgotten land. The billions of dollars being spent on this unwinnable war is quite staggering, they might have even given more money to the victims of Hurricane Katrina too instead of wasting it on a phony war.

Terrorists in Iraq don't have billions at their disposal, but I agree the terrorists are fighting an unwinnable war against the coalition and Iraqis. And congrats to the Brits for kicking some corrupt ass this week too!

How much money have you given to feed people in Africa this year, AGS?

Seems like being fat is a bigger problem in Africa these days

That is nonsense mate, read the article properly. It refers to 2 African countries (South Africa and Morocco) there are 57 countries in Africa. I doubt many people in these countries are fat as they have precious little to eat.

So I take it; that you've donated nothing to feed starving african people. Correct?

No I haven't, I barely have enough money to feed myself. But that is not the point, the point darksat was making (that I commented on) was that instead of pouring billions of dollars into a hopeless cause which Iraq is why not put some money into doing something that will make a change in the world, like helping Africa or the victims of Katrina for example.

Poor AGS. Worse off than the populations of several african countries :( I'm mad that Bush hasn't put more money towards feeding you

Do you know what the cost of putting everyone in Africa on a food program would be? Ever work out those numbers? Ever think about, oh I dunno, the other countries in the world that could feed Africa. Countries actually on the continent seem to be a good starting point.

Or, I suppose, you simply consider Africa as your token example to bash this country about. Do you complain that England doesn't do enough to feed African people? How about the EU? I can't think of a post whining that they don't feed them, either.

I care about your situation as much as you care about the situation in Africa. I care enough to talk about it, not enough to do anything to fix it. ;)

Well after I calculate my expenses I can generally donate a couple of grand to charity and write it off from the tax I pay.
Saying that though the billions spent on the Iraq war would probably feed the starving in Africa twice over.

That's nice today and tomorrow. But what about friday, saturday, sunday and every day after that? Or are you only interested in feeding them twice?

Mate you either dont seem to realise how much your little war is costing or you seem to think that feeding a starving african child is something expensive to do.
Now a meal for an african kid costs about 30 cents, thats about a dollar a day.
So how many meals can the Iraq war provide?

Billions? Sounds like increased inflation, increased drug abuse.. but most of the money will find it's way to corruption.

But that wasn't my suggestion :)

    Feeling defensive :( Poor child.

If you are so concerned about starving people in Africa, you should really do something to help, rather than "probably" feed some of them.

Mate can you read, you really are a sick lazy bastard.
I donated just under £2000 to Charity last year (thats about $3-4,000US), Most of it went to Concern which helps feed starving children.
Now what the fuck have you done you smarmy bastard.
