http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/10/world/middleeast/10diplo.html The timing is not right, especially after that letter from the Iranian President. Muslims will consider this a moral victory. Soon every Islamic country will have "letter writing" as one of the main subjects in their universities. We must remember what Palestinians did to the graves of Joseph and other prophets. It was they who celebrated on the streets when the twin towers came down. And shockingly, they thrive on predominantly Christian money. Why are we so dumb? Is it because we are so insensitive that we have become dumb or is it because we are so dumb that we have become insensitive? The cause becomes the effect and vice versa. Our wretched complacency is what hinders our progress, not matter what field we are set in, whether personal or professional. If only we could cut aid for a few more weeks, these idiots will repent and realize who is funding them.
That's perhaps when things getting tense then they don't have any excuses left. Guess its allright to help the peolpe and that the money doesn't have to be funneled through the govt.
Yes, Hamas has once again learned that agressivity and hatefullness will be punished in the short term, but rewarded in the longterm. Hopefully the aid will help them to build, not destroy but I'm sceptic. Condolezza believes in peace and understanding. The Bushadministration believes that every human on this planet should have a change to grow, so do the palestinians. Let's see what's coming out from this. It might also been an effect that US has been pushed to do this.
