That company is already been audited, the owner will spent serious time in jail. It´s not the first time he does that. That happens because US army checked the price of the product itself but not the price of transportation.
Atleast they did something for the $1 million... haha Guess how much the government paid a company to melt unused ice after Katrina? $3.5 million, to melt ice... http://www.9wsyr.com/mostpopular/story.aspx?content_id=865d5690-4fc6-4962-bbaa-a8fe440aed9c The corruption in this country is horrible... Combine that with the amount of politicians we have lacking common sense; and our country is hurting...
thats refreshing, back in old days people used to do that more when they got caught doing something major wrong
If someone made a mistake like that in England, we would demand them to resign. Why don't they do that in the USA too? Rob
Because partisan Bush advocates will argue, "The war on terror might have been lost if we didn't spend $1 million on two critical washers the military needed. By criticizing the cost of those washers, you soft liberal wankers are putting the military at risk and compromising the security of this nation. It's people like you who allowed Al Queda to attack the WTC. You're not a real American if you criticize the system." It's sad but true that Americans spend more time arguing about who was right or wrong, who was more wrong, who God instructed, who belongs to which party, who can demean their opponent in a more devastating fashion etc. than actually addressing the issues in a thoughful way. I'm not sure if it is a series of elaborate smokescreens, or just human nature.
oohhh please, i hate bush, but the other side, the dems are the absolute worst at this stuff. Big government dems are all about buracracy and wasting dollars into thier own pockets.
Both sides are rotten, I agree. But this happened under Bush's watch, so that is how I see the argument playing out. There is a reason why we're supposed to have small government. To limit the bureaucratic corruption.
i agree small federal geovernment and more power to the state you dont want abortions? fine move to a state where its not legal
Not to mention that when the federal government starts making decisions for the entire country, the tyranny of the majority squeezes out the minority. Even if the minority is 49%.
