It's not a questions of having Muslims in the military. The US is fighting against al Qaeda and anyone fraternizing with them can not be tolerated.

Could Obama jumped all over the military for tacking action against Hasan? Sure. Look how Obama involved himself in a Cambridge Police matter.

    Muslims aren't a race.

Hasan is white. What color do you think he is?

I don't judge people by the color of their skin and make no real attempt at trying to classify people by their skin color.

This guy looks like he has the same color as Hu Jintao (Leader of China). So, I guess to you, he is white also.

    Very informative.

Look, I have No tolerance for Islamic fundamentalistic terrorism. Its the biggest danger out there.

Yet I don't think this guy was a terrorist as we see them.

The terrorist m f*ckers hide from the West. They disguise everything about their true intentions.

This guy, Hasan did the opposite. He openly gave a crazy speech in front of military doctors at Walter Reed Hospital. He was supposed to speak on some medical issue. Instead he went into a rant on how Muslims in the US shouldn't be fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. He showed he was nuts. And he was open about it.

The docs at Walter Reed wrestled with it. Notice about the guy didn't escalate. He was nuts. He was nuts in a way wherein he became incredibly dangerous.

The US military missed the signals to cart this guy away. But by going open like that he was acting totally different from all the terrorists that are sneaking around.

Its Monday morning quaterbacking in saying we should have snagged this dangerous m f*cker...but we didn't. Jeez, there were signs that the terrorists were going to hit before 9/11. We missed those also. We have learned a lot, but we still miss things.

I'm not excusing anything. I think though, if commentary goes out trying to politicize the thing by statements like blaming it on political correctness...then trying to tie that to the current administration....that totally misses the point and is only cause for more problems.

The US needs to be incredibly diligent on every basis. But if we go down a road labeling every action by every Muslim as terrorist the reactions in the Islamic world will be incredibly and hugely problematic causing more moderate Muslims within the US and within the West, let alone those in Islamic lands that are going to hate us anyways, to turn toward hating us rather than joining with us to combat extremist fundametalist dangerous Muslims.

Nidal Hasan had a direct connection to 'al Qaeda' Iman Anwar al-Awlaki who is wanted for questioning by the FBI for his connection to three of the 9-11 hijackers. Anwar al-Awlaki is also wanted in Yemen and is a 'Rock-Star' among the Jahaidis.

The FBI had intercepted comunications between Anwar al-Awlaki and Hasan as well as found 10 to 20 emails to Anwar al-Awlaki on Hasan's computer.

Breaking News: Intelligence sources say Major Nidal Malik Hasan wired money to Pakistan in recent months.

You judged him by his skin color right off the bat. You say he is white and therefore must be racist.

    Update:

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan called himself a “Soldier of Allah" on private business cards. SoA is used on radical Islamic web sites as the acronym for Soldier of Allah. SWT is commonly used by Muslims as an acronym for Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Glory to God.

The victims of the Fort Hood Terrorist attack were of all races and ethnic groups including African Americans and other races. There was a 22 year old pregnant hispanic women killed al well.

Nice attempt to try to turn this into a racial issue.

You are hung up on white. For your information, there are white muslims in China. Here's a photo of a Uyghur girl in China.

How could I possibly know what his skin color is?

Personally, it is the agreement that "white is good and non-white is bad" that makes the point for me.

You could be black, brown, yellow, or gold, but if you agree that skin color makes you good or bad, it's clear where you stand.

You insisted on making this about skin color by only showing non-whites as bad and whites as good.

Then, you want to use the suffering of one group of non-whites as an excuse to hate another group of non-whites.

No one is asking you to fight their battles for them.

If you want to hate a group, have the courage to do it on the basis of your racism, without trying to act like you care about anyone but whites.

You keep bringing it up and keep digging yourself into a bigger hole.

    Islamic radicals are racists.

Here's a photo (below) of El Mufti (leader of Palestinians) and Heinrich Himmler (SS Commander) when they met to plan the 'Jihad' against the Jews.

This must be a good news for FBI and CIA since according to you it is a new trend among terrorists to print business cards which shows they are terrorists. It is just too bad that he used acronyms instead of just printing "I am terrorist" on the card and FBI didn't have you and your friends help to interpret the acronym.

Michigan Rep. Peter Hoekstra -- top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee -- is calling called for a full examination of what agencies knew about Major Hasan's contacts with a radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and others of concern to the U.S.

Texas Rep. Michael McCaul -- the ranking GOP member of the House Homeland Security Intelligence Subcommittee - said people outside the intelligence community with direct knowledge told him Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan made or accepted wire transfers with Pakistan and also had communications with Pakistan.

    Here's another acronym: ICC -- Unindicted Co-Conspirator ;)

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, is on the US Department of Justice list.

Very interesting article. It explains, in crystal clarity, the regular posts of several people on this forum. What it doesn't explain is a clear cut way to fix the problem. I'm sure there was no way of reasoning with the Hutus or Tutsis in Rwanda once they set to hatcheting each other up. Germans under the Third Reich were either too brainwashed or too scared to speak out, so same story. The answer?

Good artical. Yeah "The Narrative" also explains the little dork that tried to blow the hotel up in Dallas. By all accounts he was a party-hearty kid and well liked by his US friends... but on the net he had adopted a keyboard jihadist persona of the same nature as many of the kids in here (and I say "kids" because no adult would behave as they do in here). Same with one or two others they caught that week elsewhere in the US.

I don't know what the answer is, but some of this nature eventually do what the little twit in Dallas did. He decided he had to get out from behind the keyboard and take action. In his ultra-romanticized view I'm sure he thought he was doing Gods work and striking a blow for all that is right and good. Of course like most that buy a bill of goods that silly he was about as sharp as a bowling ball and managed to end up buying his "bomb" from the FBI. He got nailed as soon as he tried to detonate it.

Maybe the answer is to outbid the competition. I'm gonna spread the rumor that they get seventy-THREE virgins in the afterlife if they have themselves neutered. Worth a shot.

Funny stuff. Unfortunately, nothing sells like hatred, and having someone else to blame for your problems.
