So, let's see if I have this straight...

He worked for the U. S. MILITARY,

and rose to the rank of MAJOR.

The U. S. MILITARY supposedly is here to keep you safe from radical, terrorist Muslims.

Yet, they couldn't manage to keep themselves safe in their OWN ORGANIZATION.

But, we are supposed to believe they have been keeping the country safe for the past 8 years when they can't keep themselves safe.

    Hmmm.

The Military was afraid out of polictical correctness to take action against Hasan even though they had received numerous complaints about radical statements that he made.

That'd be impressive if it didnt simply show a total lack of knowledge... as if the guy started his career as a buck private. :) Medical professionals and attornies are automatically started as Captain. The guy was only a Major... so he'd had one promotion in his career.

Appears they gave him the benefit of a doubt one time. You seem to lack consistency. His religion wasn't taken into account and you suggests it speaks ill of the military. If they had taken it into account you'd say even worse. Personally I suspect they need to start taking it into account too... you dont send radical Muslims to fight radical Muslims... but it's funny that you appear to be endorsing my opinion. :)

Yes and spoke with the 9/11 bombers, but most Muslims who have carried out attacks have spoke to the 9/11 bombers according to the US lol

I dunno I find that hard to believe.

When I was in the military they used to ask if you were in the communist party. Same principle, you don't send communists to fight communists.

We don't know if Hasan has traveled outside of the US in the last few years. He spoke the language and talked the talk. Hasan's Imam Anwar al Awlaki is a US citizen and on the Yemeni most wanted list. It wouldn't have been too hard at the least for them to communicate in chat rooms.

Just watched the ceremony at Ft. Hood. It was both beautiful and enraging. One or more people need to loose their jobs (at a minimum) over this. With so many signs this guy was a radical, this is either Political Correctness gone awry, or gross incompetence/negligence. Having laws like the Patriot Act in place does you no good unless you act on the intelligence.

He was responding to the person that said:

by saying his rise to the rank of Major was by only 1 promotion, not the typical 3-4 promotions. The significance of saying that was to lesson the shock that he had reached the rank of Major, considering many that reach Major did it through many years of service while being recognized for promotion multiple times.

I hope it's still not over you head.

...and before you reply with what rank did I reach, I was in the Marines 6 years reaching E-5 @ year 4 and spending my last two years as a sergeant. I was decorated with 7 awards with the highest being a Navy Achievement Medal Far from a war hero, but I worked hard and served my country.

    How about you?

In another words, just a Sergeant, who probably believed that he was a general and the armed forces is run by them.

Why do you think that a Sergeant ranks lower than a lowest officer rank? ;)

Just shows Gworld hasnt a clue about it. Even at OCS they told us sergeants run the Corps, and any officer that wants to live listens to good NCOs in the field. They ARE officers Gworld... non-commissioned variety. You just don't call 'em "sir" because as they'll quickly tell you, they *work* for a living. Nobody that's been in uniform takes sergeants lightly.

Army Major Nidal Hasan tied to Al Qaeda. Hasan exchanged 10 to 20 messages with Anwar al-Awlaki identified by the FBI as "senior recruiter for al Qaeda".
