    You would like the M16

Some of the old school stuff is nice. I like those old winchester rifles in .32 caliber. S&W .357 is nice and reliable. Colt .45 acp is a classic and will never let you down.

    I never fired a beretta m9 (9mm)

I have a couple of those beretta .25s and they are nice.

I have the colt commander (.45 caliber) and its pretty good.

They have a shooting range in my town where you can basically rent any kind of gun and shoot it. I have been meaning to go there. Wonder if they let you shoot rocket launchers? :D

In most states that's true. But if you want to have some real fun, head on over to a state like Nevada, you can rent an Uzi, AK, etc and try it out on their range. Ownership is legal with a special ATF license in those states also.

I never fired an AT4 but it looks nice. The Unit Replacement Cost is $1,480.64 so its kind of pricey. I fired a few M72 laws and they are nice.

I got to fire a M47 Dragon and that was pretty good. I think they are $5000 per round. I'd like to try a javelin. That would be nice.

    Here is my dream list

You've been around the block a few times, bogart :)

Other than the m16, the only other one I remember firing was the m2 .50 cal. That was a manly beast on top of a howitzer at the range.

I need to check up on our laws here in Texas for firing out in the open (country). We have two ranges here. One indoor (kinda sleezy). The other is a club and the only way to get in is via social events and have to be recommended by a member. Outside of our relatively small city, there is more "nothing" for as far as one can see or drive in any direction.

Next weapon on my list is a Colt LE6920. When the assault ban lifted a few years ago, they were going for premium.

The Colt LE6920 is pretty cheap now. I guess we should pick one up before the next presidential election.

Most of the good stuff is auto and there are too many restrictions

My dream is to get a barret

We go out to the everglades and shoot. We don't shoot animals, just cars, washers, dryers, bottles, abondoned homes, that kind of stuff. You'd be supprised at how many cars are out there. People steal them and take them out there to ditch them and strip them.

It's cool too, because 40-50 years ago, they actually built neibhorhoods out in the glades. Well, not neibhorhoods, but basiclly streets where they planned on having neibhorhoods. Then the government bought the property and turned it into federal land for wildlife. So basiclly you have extensive roads with some old abondoned homes with no people around for miles. It makes for gret fun :)

Here's a screen of our 'shooting range'

Here's a random picture. It a few of us out there. We came upon an old trailor and decided to take some pictures before shooting it up. I'm the one hanging out of the window with the tec9

    Hey,
i got brought up on the Blowpipe and then the Javelin.
Used to fire it on pendine sands
Had an expensive knack of being able to hit the RPV
Anything for an early finish and a day on the pop

They have come a long way, when they first came out they were single shot and needed a boot on the bolt to remove the spent.
Problem with this gun is the boattail on the back of the round
It was designed to hit trucks not people at 1200 meters, unless of course there is special ammo out
