U.S. Man Sells Pizza.com Domain for $2.6 Million

I love stories like this, but I can help but feel like this kind of thing is mostly luck.

He didn't buy the domain as an investment, doesn't sound like he took advantage of it when it was in his possession and seems suprised that it is worth so much!

That is not to take any credit away from him tho, he deserves it and hope he enjoys it.

After seeing it i tried pasta.com but no luck

 

i wonder what site/service he used to sell the domain? My dad owns a one word domain that I think might be worth that much. I think he should put it up for sale

 

I bet he is really happy, hes 2.6M richer! I would be! But thats insane price for a DOMAIN.

Its a genercic domin so anyone can hold unlike a company name or something as those names are registered trademarks.
