U.S. general: No evidence Iran is arming Iraqis

    GTech is grooming him mate, it is very very worrying.

    He (d16man, GTechs prodigy) is actually more annoying than Mia, if that can be at all possible. :p

    The fact remains that after the Iraqi army was defeated the nation and the population has found a way to arm itself in increasingly dangerous ways.

    That was a major error. Most American soldiers have died since fighting stopped between organized miltary groups. Weapons have been brought into Iraq through all borders, weapons and munitions caches weren't protected or destroyed following the initial fighting and the anarchic civil war like conditions have ensued.

    Its just a continuing disaster.

    It is hard not to believe that these referenced weapons came via Iran as they are being used in Shiite dominated parts of Iraq and not in Sunni parts of the country. Whether or not they are government sponsored is a question or proof that is beyond me and beyond General Pace.
