What was your argument? That the Afghan war is about an oil/gas pipeline? Could you provide me the senate and oil company quotes where they agree with that argument? So far, you've just provided quotes from those sources that showed they were interested in putting a pipeline in.

If you have an email where your neighbor states he needs money, and a week later your home is robbed, can we assume your neighbor robbed your home?

Don't feel bad. Flawed logic and reasoning skills are shared by most who support these types of causes. I suspect they are a prerequisite.

Then they'll be unemployed ie not paying taxes, whilst you still have to pay.

Nope. Sorry, it does not work that way. You have to be laid off to collect. Cut someone's hours, pay, benefits till they quit? No unemployment.

~ Bush's tax package was construed to deceive the American people into believing its passage would not increase the budget deficit by including expiration dates that when taken into account made the 10 year budget projection less onerous for passage - they expected to remain in power to remove the expirations at a later date.

~ They knew full well the consequences would be budget deficits that actually refute the Rogers quote by simply having the other half pay the bills for the half that are altering the laws to their advantage without accountability.

~ This thread is about being accountable for legislative actions than scapegoating as Republicans.
