u block txt spk in adwords?

    I'm considering blocking words like "u", "ur", in my Adwords account. I'd guess that people using these words are highly likely to be one of the following:

    Kids (and therefore unlikely to purchase)
    Idiots/semi-literates (who are far less likely to have money, or be interested in my semi-technical topic.)

    I don't block typos, but with some misspellings, it's clear that it's not a typo, but a case of semi-literacy. (For instance, "maek" is probably a typo, but "mack" definitely isn't.)

    I think it's reasonable to assume a fairly strong correlation between various factors here, and act accordingly.

    Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

    It might be worth a try - it's a pretty sad indictment of the English language at the moment that 'text speak' is so prevalent - it's not necessarily kids or semi-literates unfortunately...
