I just discovered that nameking.com and their ghost company maltuzi.com has registered a name that is almost the same as mine excep for an s in the domain name. Not only did they squat the name, they also use similar content. I email nameking.com and they said they'll check it out with the owner of the web site (themselves!) and said that there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. After searching the Internet I found that nameking.com and maltuzi.com is one of the largest, if not THE largest typo squatting company in the world with hundreds of thousands of domain name registered. I found it using whois.sc, checked my name and on the right hand side they have links to similar sites, so if you think you have been rapes by thses @$%#@$ a*****s, check it out and we'll see if we can file a class act lawsuit or anything.... maybe spam their friggin support.... Soem people even suggest that if you go to nameking and search for a domain name, that they keep track of it and if you don't register the name they will! OR if you are not fast enough to decide, they snatch it from under you!! They should NOT be allowed to be a registrar anymore!!
Without knowing the domains it is difficult to advise but in most these cases it is not the company that owns the domain but one of their clients who they have a profit share agreement with - they host the site and provide the affiliate links and share the income with the domain owner. If you feel they have breached your rights then the details of the disputes process is here: http://www.icann.org/udrp/udrp.htm This is potentially a long and painful process though. My former employers had a team of solicitors that did nothing but recover typo type domain names for their brands.
