typo domains www-xxxxxx.com

    I have been noticing some people have registered popular domain names such as "www-christmas.com"

    My question is do people really type in "www.-xxx.com" Seems like this would get near zero traffic. I can understand registering wwwchristmass.com
    Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    I don't invest heavily in typos, but from what I've read those don't do very well.

    Normally you would get something like wwwcars.com not www-cars.com

    I really don't know how people are gonna type in that dash. ;)

    Some typos get good trafiic but most crappy ones wouldn't even generate enough revenue to recoup the reg fee.

    Maybe they want the keyword in the domain.. only benefit on names like that above.....

    All typos arent bad...a facebook typo sold for 15k the other week. I believe just the ones with dashes in them are a waste

    it is better to buying gogle goolle goglee instead of wwwgoogle or www-google.If wanna try typo , then use the false typing combinations
