Typing with gloves is hard!

Been here, done this...yeah it's hard.

Try moving your computer set up near the kitchen, and keep some water heated (make sure to keep your eyes on it). That should warm up the place +20 degrees.

 

Tried typing once with mittens once, they were hard to use

 

don't remember what it was... but believe me, there can't be anything worse than the guy that started a thread to ask what color underwear everyone is using

And the main purpose of this thread was to ask people what they wear to keep their legs warm, it is actually a serrious question since there must be some sort of fabric people use in winter in cold places

 

Long Johns and keep your windows and doors shut.

yeah its really hard to type with gloves covered our hand... but the best option is turn on the heaters and remove your gloves

ive never used gloves while typing, climate never so cold here at mumbai

Are you telling me you put gloves on your feet and then try typing?
I have 2 recommendations:

1) Remove the gloves and type with your toes.
2) Leave the gloves on and type with your fingers.

 

Back in the midwest we just called 'em long johns

 

Yeah, someone else told me exactly the same thing, to get some long johns, lol

 

I meant the battery powered ones that heat up.

long johns always did the job.. but then again it never got into the -10's and -20's back home

 

LOL2 the military size scale "small-long", pants powered by GE. the people that brought you quality shows on TV like; "Knight Rider".

 

I don't know what the fuss is about anyways. I live in Vancouver and when I'm home I wear shorts and a t-shirt and we turn on the heat maybe a total of 2 weeks out of the year. (and no, I have no extra fat to keep me warm, I'm quite slim)

Like I said, we do have indoor heating, no clothes required.

Just got a note from someone saying that not only is it cold at Vancouver, but it is also rainy... don't even want to imagine it.
