    Hi

I own a site through which I sell something which fixes coolant leaks from car radiators and head gaskets ... Coolant Repair

I've read a bit about people who have purchased domain names, for example..... cheapbeer.com, greatlaughs, etc.. and then parked the domains to earn some click money from traffic when ..

people type the phrase, name straight into the browser URL bar rather than Googling it.

To have a shot at this, in a variation.... I recently bought the domain http://www.fixradiatorleak.com .

However, when I type fixradiatorleak straight into my browser, nothing much happens..., just a list of other peoples sites comes up. What do I have to do so that if someone types fixradiatorleak then the browser takes them straight to my http://www.coolantrepair.co.uk site?

When I type in fixradiatorleak.com , this works fine and redirects to my Coolant Repair site.

    Advice please?

    Andrew

    It's a Firefox/Google thing - I assume you're using Firefox, or I misunderstood you.
When you type in the phrase into your browser (Firefox,) it queries Google and either brings you a search page for that phrase, or if the top result is strong enough, it will automatically take you to the first result, "I'm Feeling Lucky" style.
