NOTE: This modification works for ANY forum software. Here are the general instructions. DESCRIPTION: Each time a user pastes content from your website into an email, blog or website, we automatically add a URL link back to your site’s original content. When someone clicks that URL, they are directed back to your site and see the original content. This drives incremental traffic to your site when your content is shared without your knowledge while maintaining a consistent user experience. How to Install – CMS Systems When you sign up for a Tynt Insight account a custom script will be created specifically for you. Add the javascript snippet to the HTML on your page templates right before the end of the body close tag. Tynt Insight will begin working immediately. Optionally, you can test the code here, or try it out yourself! VIDEO DEMO: You can find the video demo on the front page of tynt.com I like to use this along with cpalead. With cpalead, I've set it so if they complete 1 offer, they won't see the cpalead advert again for one year. If they choose the close the cpalead box, they'll see the cpalead advert once every 5 minutes. The only reason I threw in cpalead is because it's good with blocking adblock plus, so this pretty much makes it to where they can't block the tynt script. Enjoy & share!
most starting forum owners struggle to drive traffic, if this works it would be a big help to thousand of forum owners. I'm currently checking your video. Will this also work on joomla based websites?
it's not my video or site but from what I understand, all you have to do is put the code before the </body> tag and it will work. So yes, it should work with any CMS/Forum
that script is WILD!!! i got like...20 backlinks for doing nothing...and that in only 1h ) 10x a lot, installed it on my forum my blog cheers!
I've seen this before, places like cracked.com use such scripts. It looks really useful, since people typically don't remove the "watermark" from the copy/paste text, and end up sharing it with friends. Really smart idea. ^^
yes it works greatly, I have started using it 2 days ago and I had 150 backlinks so far and it keeps coming, now my forum is not very active because i had to start fresh with a new database we wont into that, but i do have several loyal members that post unique tuts everyday and apparently there is people on the web copying their tuts off of my forum. so it is a win win
