.txt site map Google showing wrong page extension

    Hi,
    I have several sites with .txt site maps
    Google HTTP errors shows some pages 404 and displays
    pagename.html when the site map says pagename.htm

    The pages and site map have always been .htm

    Anybody have a similar prob?
    Know of a fix?

    Figured out the problem, there was a couple of links in the site pointing at the .html instead of .htm

    Looks like you could use a broken link checker... Xenu offers an excellent one for free or AutoMapIt.com does link-checking, SEO page analysis, and sitemaps for a few bucks/mo.
