Two way linking or Three way linking?

Everyone recommends three way linking. But i wonder!!

Reciprocal links should be of equal importance as that of three way links if not more.

    What do you think?

Don't you think that three way linking is somewhat equal to one way links?

how about 4 and 5 way links ;)

1 is far the best, but hard to get; 2,3,4... are the same as long as you do it right (relevant linking)

    reciprocal and three way linking

As three way link is not reciprocal and have only single directional link with other site, so they are one way as well.:)

    m i right?

I think 3 way link is cultivated term used for more than two way links.

Not true. I don't recommend them.

Links are links. Reciprocal. One-way. Seven-way. Google doesn't care. What matters is what those links are (PR and anchor text and probably page content by now).

But two way linking (I mean reciprocal links) means not natural links. How they can be equal as one way back link?

    Not necessarily true.

I have natural two way links on my site - natural because two sites with like content link to one another, not because the links are arranged or traded.

    Can any one define:

    1. One way links
    2. Two way links
    3. Three way links
    4. Reciporcal links
    5. Non- Reciprocal links

In fact i want to clarify few questions like:

    1. Two way links are always reciprocal?
    2. Three way links are always non-reciprocal?
    3. Three way links are always cyclic?
    4. One way link cannot be non-reciprocal?

    etc.

One way links = links that point to your page - you don't return the favor
Two way links = page A links to your page B; you link back to page A (not necessarily from your page B though)
Three way links = Page A links to your Page B; though a prior arrangement, you add a link from Page B to another page, Page C
Reciprocal links = links that are reciprocated; i.e., two way links
Non-reciprocal links = links that are not reciprocated, i.e., one-way links

Two way links are always reciprocal?
Yes. This is not necessarily by arrangement, though - it also occurs "organically" or naturally when two sites with similar content link to one another.

Three way links are always non-reciprocal?
On the contrary. Three way links are almost always reciprocal -- indeed, they are an attempt to disguise or hide the fact that they are reciprocal to fool search engines into thinking they are one-way.

Three way links are always cyclic?
    I don't understand the question.

One way link cannot be non-reciprocal?
Double negative... By definition, a one-way link only goes one way and therefore is not reciprocated/recoprocal.

I often get people asking the difference of 3-way link exchange and parallel link exchange.

    Here is an explanation.

    1)
What is a 3-way link exchange?
    * You have two sites - "A" & "B".
    * Your link partner has one site "C" .
    * If "C" links to "A" and in return, "B" links to "C".
This it is called 3-way link exchange.

    2)
What is a parallel link exchange?
    * You have two sites - "A" & "B".
    * Your link partner also has two sites "C" & "D".
    * If "C" links to "A" and in return "B" links to "D".
This it is called parallel link exchange.

PM me if you are interested in 3-way link exchanges or parallel link exchanges.

One way link simply mean just one directional link, either incoming or outgoing link. Means- If you page is either have only incoming links or outgoing links, it means one way linking is established.

Two way links means you page is having both directional links- incoming and outgoing links.

This is cultivated term not generic term. This term is used in case when more than two pages are involved in linking. Means- Page A link to Page B and Page B link to Page C. And Page B do NOT link to Page A and Page C do NOT link to Page B.

Also, Three way linking can be also be seen as two way or one way (if seen in parts) depending on the conditions.

Simply, Page A link to Page B and Page B link to Page A in return.

Reciprocal links are always two way links. But two way links need not to be reciprocal always.

Simply, Page A link to Page B, but Page B do not link to Page A in return.

Two way links are always reciprocal?
    NO, reverse is yes.

Three way links are always non-reciprocal?
    Yes, it is.

Three way links are always cyclic?
I hope you means by cyclic is - a closed circle is made by linking. i.e. Page A link to Page B, Page B link to Page C and Page C link to Page A.

    Than, No not always.

Also, cyclic links may be reciprocal and three way links. As A --> B and B-->A is closed circle.

One way link cannot be non-reciprocal?
    One way link means

(Page A ----> Page B OR Page B ---> Page A) AND NOT other directional.

Hence, one way links are always non-reciprocal.

This seems to be a bit contradictory with minstrel, but what i feel right is this only.

Not only seems. It is contradictory.

    This is incorrect:

No. It means that Page A links to Page B and Page B links back to Page A.

    This is also incorrect:

By definition, two-way links are always reciprocal.
    And this makes no sense:

    Think over it again.

Think about the generic meaning of term and not generally used meaning.

This is somewhat like: "match" is generally used term for cricket match. :)
