Is it true that putting two titles in the meta will rank higher in the search engine. Has anyone tried the two title theory?

Never herd of that before but if it actually exists it would be deceiving the SEs so it's risky and not worth it.

I don't think so. Google isn't stupid, or actually maybe it is so it won't comprehend the 2 tags :D. AND if it does work then I believe it will be listed as BlackHat SEO, and you really don't want that ;) .

Not at all. Listing 2 title tags has not any meaning. Search engines are very smart. I think it won't affect in your effort of ranking high in search engines then why to use it??????

If you will use 2 title tag then probably you will get error when you try to Validate your site in the W3C.

Hence, getting you a *harder* to spider site. Search Engines like good code. A *harder* to spider site means a worse ranking position. SO actually you get a lower rank in Search Engines ;).

Hmm, i agree to disagree, and would like any proof you have of this as i don't believe in it whatsoever

If a site is harder to spider you get lower rankings? NAH..not at all, if its un-spiderable you can get lower rankings, but just being "harder" to spider will not affect

This is the first time I have heard mentioned this "two title theory", and for what it sounds, dont touch it, wherever or whatever your source may be

    P.S Stick to SEO-Guy, :p

"Harder" to spider will probably get some of your pages uncrwled I believe. And with uncrawled pages you have less content which means lower ranking ;).

    Argh.. Whatever you win :D
