this is not against TOS. Its actually strategy. I have a couple of niches where I own the entire front page of Google of certain keywords with different sites.

Interesting strtegy. Why dont you target different keywords, instead of targeting to the same keyword?

I target the same keyword on multiple sites also.

"Why don't you target different keywords, instead of targeting to the same keyword?"

If you actually rank for something in the top ten, and it earns you money, wouldn't you want to try and rank for the other 9 spots?

Not doing it is like a gold panner finding some gold in the river and instead of taking all of it says, lets go try finding gold in another spot now. Ludicrous.

And I target the same keyword AND different keywords.

However if you are gaming the system or being dishonest on one site, then YES being dishonest on two sites will help your chances of getting caught.

I would think it would be fine so long as it wasn't duplicate content.

No, why would it be? There are some people that create many sites on the niche they are "expert" in. They do this because they feel they have a better understanding of the topic and can create unique material for their sites.

why would you lose half your earnings?

So if I write on one website about the nintendo wii, if I write about the same keyword (nintendo wii) on another website my earnings go down half???

LOL, that doesn't make any sense. Please explain.

Well I said I target the same niche not neccessarily the same keyword. Each site has a main keyword that is different, but they are in the same niche. When I build sites I put together a range of keywords and build them into the site their is alway overlap. I never use the same content on multiple sites. I don't even use PLR content any more unless its been totally re-written. I jsut seem to rank better with content I've written myself or hired out to be written. I still write most of it myself as I know better of where I want a paticular article to rank and how to write it so it gets there and enitices the visitor to perform an action.

I've spent a fair amount of time analyzing what in text will make my visitor perform a paticular action and I try to build that into my copy. I can't seem to be able to explain what I'm after to ghost writers so I just wind up doing it myself. Takes a lot more time, but in the end its proving worth it.

If you are worried about Google's TOS, you can always send them an email asking them to review your site. This is the safest way.

No,in the same website or one or two pages on another website,no problems

What about two websites with the same main keyword (nintendo wii)?

If i found a very less competitive keyword which i can easly rank well on search engines, can i setup 10 websites about this keyword and add google adsense ads on all?I think google will give me 1/10 of my earnings...

So,i talk about the main keyword on two or more websites under the same account, you should only creat one site per keyword topic..

Yes you can set up 10 websites for that less competitive keyword and NO google won't discount the click just because they saw it elsewhere in your network.

The money comes from an advertiser buying the click, it doesn't matter to an advertiser what site of yours they come from.

If you read about it you have to have an actual reason for it.
