Hi everybody! My website has two languages: portuguese (the main one) and english. I created two xml sitemap files, one for each language but google only indexes the portuguese ones. The difference between the url for both languages are that for the english version it's needed to have a .../LG1/ on the url's trail (i.e. portuguese version: http://www.worldwar-two.net/multimedia/ and english version: http://www.worldwar-two.net/multimedia/LG1/). I'd appreciate any help on this issue. Best regards, JRJR
What does it say in your sitemaps account? Google doesn't normally index the sitemaps as they offer no benefit to the users.
There are no errors in the english version. Google says: Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Jul 15, 2006

That means its all working perfectly. The problem you seem to have is that each page on your site is written in portugese and english. Google probably thinks they are duplicate content and only indexes one version.
But I remeber that I already had few (3 or 4) english pages (articles) indexed by google. Is there any solution to force the difference between both versions?
Don't Google feel different languages? That should be different content. But seems that for Google it's not.
