The "Baseline Rapist" and the "Serial Shooter".. I don't know where the serial shooter is killing people.. but one of the baseline rapists attacks happened just a few miles from where I live

Hopefully they catch these two nuts pretty soon.. I've actually been keeping my doors locked lately

Well... before we had 2 crazed serial killers on the lose and a large rise in criminal gang activity that focuses on home invasions and muggings... I had no problem leaving my doors unlocked (I'm in a nice part of the area where we see very few murders).

Last year after getting back from a 3 day trip to california I noticed I had left my back sliding glass door (that faces the parking lot) cracked 6 inches open... nobody had taken anything while i was gone

Yikes. My mom is one of the MANY snowbirds and has a winter home in Scottsdale. She is alone and I worry about her. She turned 80 this year and I'm not feeling good about her going out to Phoenix this coming winter.

I hope they catch them soon. Even still there is a lot of crime there.

Sherriff Joe needs to get on it!

There's not much crime in Scottsdale. It's the other cities in the metro area like Phoenix, Glendale and Mesa that seem to be full of criminals and drug addicts. Even Tempe is getting nasty these days. :(

This is true. Her nieghborhood is pretty awesome but I worry about all the workers that come into the nieghborhood.

One of the yard guys propositioned ;) ;) her last year but she didn't understand him because her english isn't so good. She called me later to ask me what it meant and I flipped out!! She's 80 man that's just ill!! Thank God he was not aggressive towards her.

So bad things can happen anywhere I guess.
