I have tried out to add my site references to directories abilogic and ajdee with same anchor texts. Directories made your work very quickly and added links at three days. But google found the link from abilogic only. I suppose google don't want to find the link from another directory. Because google finds out other references from the page of ajdee with my one very well. But my reference is missed by google till now. Maybe I had to submit links with different anchor texts?
You should rotate your titles. I use 1 title for 50-100 directories and I can still see my backlinks in yahoo / google webmaster tools. You should try to rotate your description more often if you can. Directory links take time in showing up, so just have patience.
