Two Pronged Adwords Question

First, I have a quality score of 7/10 for two keywords and for one of the them the minimum CPC is 10 cents but I put it at 15 cents that I'd spend and I'm still not seeing it in the serps when I search for that term. Even when there are only 3 or 4 ads on the page I'm not seeing it for some reason.

Secondly, what's keeping me from getting a higher score on those words? The subdirectory is named and targeted for one of the two keywords, it's a large, easy to navigate site with disclaimers and all the fluff in place. I do have 3 links on the page which link to another page on my site which is a redirect with an affiliate link to the product I'm promoting. Would I be getting a 10/10 if I took these links off the page.

ps... do those links count as affiliate links? It's not like the links on the page are themselves affiliate links, they are links to other pages on my site which work as redirects, so I wanted to clarify if google construes this as a straight up affiliate link, a half affiliate link, or what the deal with it is.

    Thanks.

Google is showing your ads sporadically throughout the day because you don't have a sufficiently high daily budget to show every time the keyword is searched for. Don't keep searching for your own keyword - use the adwords preview tool - that's what it's for. If you see your ad you're just adding to your impressions - if you don't you're adding to someone else's which is just mean. https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool

7 is a perfectly respectable Quality Score - it may go higher with a high ctr, but it's not a contest, yes, a better QS may keep the cpc down, but chasing a 10 for the sake of it as pointless as those dweebs who chase PageRank - you don't need a 10 to win a prize.

Yeah I know i don't want to mess up impressions or anything for anyone. I just checked back at my account and it said that the ad wasn't live because it was waiting to be reviewed. I don't understand I thought ads on adwords went live practically immediately. It's been over a day. I got good quality scores on my words and landing page combo as i mentioned above. What is this review business about?

Also, high quality score doesnot automatically means that you are going to be shown in the ranking. There are many other factors as well.

I've also had ads stay in the Review status. I simply remove them and then create a new ad. Has worked every time so far with the new ad being approved in minutes.
