    Hi All,
Are we all pumped for the week ahead?

Quick question: is it possible to have ads show only when two keywords are together no matter what position in the search phrase.

Example: I want to sell widgets in the Melbourne area (City in Australia for those geographically challenged members). Apart from the broad keyword: widgets melbourne, can I do "widgets" AND "melbourne"? So ad would only show when the word widget AND melbourne is in the same search phrase. Broad will achieve this, but broad will also bring in broad impressions which I probably don't want.

    Thanks in advance.

I can only see two alternatives:

    1) Run broad match, look at the search query results, and pick out the ones that are relevant, and add them in as exact and phrase match (put the rest in negative match), until you have a good list of phrase matches.

    2) Just find the best phrase matches you can think of - e.g. "melbourne widgets", "widgets in melbourne", "widgets from melbourne", etc...

As you say, broad matching will deliver lots of irrelevant impressions...

For this you should use phrase match eg. "widgets melbourne" so when a user searches for "buy widgets in melbourne" your ad will show up. If you are specific about your ad appearing only in the exact sequence the you should use [widgets melbourne] which is an exact match.Hope this helps
