Two most important factors in SEO

Acttully, I just came to know and started doing SEO just two weeks ago.At fist, I don't have any idea about how to do it at all.

My boss told me two most important factors about SEO, they are
1.keyword
2.hyperlink

keywords requires you to highlight and accentuate the words your business cocerns most, this will be easier for search engine to grasp your major information. And a same keyword need to be repeated at least twice.

Hyperlink has two concepts：words hyperlink and website hyperlink, the words you hyperlinked are of course those keywords you care most. And as to website hyperlink, you need to hyperlink the website, i.e, your homepage, in another words, where you want your audience to press ultimately, in this way, the audience who see your scprit will go to your homepage conveniently and easily.

Of course, how to use it will depend, because different platform will have their different rules.

Anyway, these two are really the most important factors, for example, We are a USB flash drive supplier in China ,we company applys it to our SEO works, we at last have our website ranked in the top five in Google engine in less than a month. Sounds impossible, but it is true.

Believe it or not, you just input “USB flash drive supplier” in Google, you wil find our website www.61281188.com in the top five.

 

Wow, this makes little to no sense and that's not a very competitive keyword.

Note: It's called "anchor text"

 

Wow! I cannot believe it! I've been battling up-stream for all these years & only now do I find out that it's down to keyword & hyperlink!

Why didn't someone tell me this sooner!?!?!

 

You need to check the competion of the keywords you selected and the traffic of the keywords lead, for example, less competion and huge traffic is good keywords, but these are very few !

I can only say... you've go a LOT to learn about SEO. There is a whole lot more to it than this...

 

Maybe before you start worrying about these you should look at the on-page optimisation of the site in question. Title, Description & H tags would be a good place to start

Keywords+links+Content+Proper Website Architecture+Off page= Search engine optimization

 

I agree, specially with links alone, not all links are created equal in the eyes of Google no matter how good your anchor text may be.

But for someone who just started two weeks ago, it's a good beginning, your experience can be beneficial for those who are starting.

 

I don't think quality backlinks are the most imporant thing for SEO, if you wanna high pr, this maybe achieve, but if you wanna top rank this maybe no use. Do you think high pr means good keywords ranking!

 

that is an anchor text, yes it is important, but there is a lot more factors that make your SERP on the first page. you need to find out more

 

I searched that up in Google and that site wasn't in the first 5 pages. I agree that those two factors, especially keywords are important, but there's many more equally important.

Have the right site structure which is easy for the users to navigate. Do not stuff the keywords in the Title Tag...between 65 - 70 characters. Do not repeat your title and description tags. Do not duplicate content. Have links in good PR sites. Directory submission will also help to great extent.

 

I agree that keywords and hyperlinks are very important on a website, but I've placed keywords all over my website, and placed loads of backlinks, why has google not indexed my site in nearly over a week? I'm probably not doing enough for the google bot to spot me :S

 

Do not over do stuffing of keywords and backlinks. Go at a normal pace and have patience. A lot of people are experiencing slow website indexing for new websites. Again do not try and push it hard, do your job and wait for sometime. Can you tell me the website.
