Hey, First post here so would like to start by saying hi. Like a lot of people here my dabbling with AdWords to this point has involved in spending probably about $200 over a period of the last 3 months or so, making about 5 sales and earning maybe $100 back in commission. Ironically, this is spread across ClickBank, Commission Junction and a couple others so I've not actually earned enough in any of the individual programmes to even get sent a cheuqe. So in actual fact, I've earnt nowt. Has anyone bought and read/implemented this yet? www.twominuteprofits.com (No affiliate link there so don't worry I'm not making money if you choose to grab a copy). I bought it about 2 weeks ago and the results have been, well, less than inspiring. I won't ruin the 'secret' method used as the guy who put it together did so for a reason and it's not like $7 is a lot to lay down for something like this, but I've found it so unbelievably hard to find campaigns that match his criteria, and those that I have found just don't generate results. One thing I do know is that since I bought the book, it's author 'Alok Jain' has sent me no less than 4 emails recommending popular (read - Expensive!) ebooks that he recommends including Day Job Killer, Duvet Dollars, Keyword Elite and the other usual suspects. Anyone else looked into this yet?
Hi bobbobson Yes, i too would recomend Chris series, APX, DJK, DD, Adword Miracle.... These book are great. All the technique in the book have make many success advertiser. You will find 60% of the content is about ad copywritting. And this is crucialy important. I didn't know untill i try prove it to myself. Keyword Elite, yeah i like it because it has spy competitors feature. Other than that, it's just ok. I would recomend Nichebot though. I use it alot and it has all the feature i need. Oh, and Wordtracker integrate with Nichebot too.... nice. Thanks Romico PS: 'Alok Jain' has given a basic idea on how to find niches in his ebook. Great tips there.
f****....i cant believe i just bought On Demand Profits and Two Minute Profits ... (I have to agree that the "only $7" price tag has something to it....) ODP is so stupidly simple...it's like you want to smash your own forehead...
it wouldnt be fair (Seriously) Spend the $7..and have a smile I went also over 2MP....and DAYUM i have a hell of a time finding keywords. I can only say so much about Two Minutes Profits...he recommends a special way to set up adwords KW...SIMPLE too. But i think it needs A LOT of time researching on overture/google to get a working keyword. Also....nothing new....those two ebooks are nearly braindead...but then in a good sense. Makes you look at things from another perspective. I dont regret paying the money in this case.
how many KWs did you find ? I have a hell of a time...this is also VERY braindead.....but i have the feeling with some research you could be successfull. Basically only a variation of other (obvious) adwords techniques. I'd like to see HIS list of keywords
Two Minute Profits, is a very short ebook, that explains how you can make quick money using Clickbank and Adwords. It tells you, how to find out necessary keywords and how to use them to increase your profits. Even though, that the book is really short, it's quite useful. Would recommend to buy it.
I bought the $9.97 version of OnDemandProfits way back when the affiliate links did not work with the old 7 Dollar script because of the issues with Paypal but then I found a similar but much better resource and free. There is additional software download in it like the new " Secret Affiliate Finder Software" and "Affiliate Program Management Secrets" to name just two all free, links to 250 forums etc. etc. Alok Jain resource is older them my Dog, lol I am surprised it still sells. Why pay for orangutans and dinosaurs when you can get newer and better for free?
what was this about? forum links? Or the weird ebook i once got by Alok Jain where i thought this system needs a SERIOUS overhaul...eg where he said to use names and then switch them around for PPC...eg. "Tommy Hilfiger" ---> "Hilfigertommy" and similiar ?!
I think you might want to market your product/website through other channels in addition to ppc. Choose some long tail keywords instead of the hottest ones and you might end up spending less on the advertising and get more quality visitors.
3 word keywords are best from what i observe. Still looking for some strong "BUYER" keywords as opposed to "BORWSER" keywords. Eg. adding "buy <gadget X>"as keyword..maybe it would increase conversions. But i never tried this.
GeorgR "buy <something>" keywords are very competitive, because probably they have good coversations.
