First question is. How google read dash ' - ' ? Example: review-web-hosting.com Is better options: reviewwebhosting.com ? Second question is: Is important to have unique IP per domain? Example: One hosting account - one domain! Is that have any sense?
Hi, Google reads it as "space", the question would be how memorable will be for the visitors you want to attract. Also, its always better to have a dedicated IP for the website. As for "One hosting account - one domain! " - it does not matter if you can do good optimization of the sites. Good Luck! A.
Re domains, i don't think either would make much difference. i have domains in both forms and both sites rank well. Re IP's, dedicated is the way to go for sure!
Dedicated is surely better option...I'll move 2 of my sites on such hosting after the holidays. As for the dashes, all my domains include dash and few more in the URLs - no problem at all.
and what you thin about row words in domain name. example: word1-word2-word3.com it is similar like word3-word2-word1.com When someone enter in search box: word1 word2 word3 google reads it in row, or can apart. Just to match result! understand point of theory?
Regarding you domain name: I would be to keep it short. 1 or 2 keywords is usually better for the image. I mean, if I see a site like keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com in the SER, I will be a bit doubtful regarding its content and I would click easier on a site keyword1.com or keyword2.com ... Regarding SERP I'm keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com will be interesting but that doesn't really roll of the tongue for potential visitors, to make a general statement. Then, it can depends on your actual activity!
Sure, but you dont understand me good. When i optimizing site for some keyword is better to have that keyword in domain ( for SERP )... I'm wondering this: Someone type in search box this: 'fine christmas collectibles' Natural, that site with ( 'fine christmas collectibles' in domain and in title tag will be #1 ) So his site will be: fine-christmas-collectibles.com But, i have site: christmas-fine-collectibles.com How will google read it? In both case search query will be matched! In my case, i will have: fine christmas collectibles in title tag, but in domain name i will have: christmas-fine-collectibles.com You understand now?
OK. In that case, the order does matter For one of my site : the 1st bit of my title is : My SIP Switch A another company is called 'sip switch' When someone enters 'My SIP Switch' his website appears very poorly (which is good!). When someone enters 'sip switch' he is 1st and I'm after. Both websites have rougthly the same SEO value (number of backlinks ...) he is older than mine though. That should give you some hints. Cheers
Your signatur is not good for: My SIP Switch, you enter: www.mysipswitch.com.com I think i discover something very important... And i have prove for it...
