Two logos are needed for a client of mine. Prize is $20 for each logo (so $40 total up for grabs). They are for a dance business (one is specifically tango and one is more general): Logo1 Name of business: Sabra Tango (sabratango.com) Should represent movement, nice geometry, lines, and curves, spirals. A couple dancing. Two bodies like one. Very modern but still representative of Classical Argentine tango, not ballroom tango. Tango is about two or more people connected as one in a nostalgic, excited, deep, meditative place moving with music in an ordered way through space that allows for freedom of movement in very crowded spaces. The dance is less show and more feeling based. Sense of sharing is important. Being in the same place at the same time with another person and enjoying it. Maybe this information helps, I don't know. I like abstract, new, and innovative a lot but may be difficult to convey that because tango is based on the very traditional... I focus mostly on technique and deep principles of connection and dance, so clean lines and symmetry are good. Beautiful and elegant but not overly feminine. I like the use of infinity to represent each person or having the people inside of something that looks like that. Examples like using the actual infinity symbol or like the Chinese yin yang symbol. Maybe this is too much. I know nothing about design, so this is just a possibility. Logo 2 Name of of business: Houston Movement Arts Teaching body alignment, balance, strength, flexibility, movement for dance, yoga, tai chi, yoga for elderly and crippled, children's classes. I have no idea what I want for this but can apply from above whatever is not directly related to tango.
