Two Installs on Same Domain - Now Can't Login

I have a WP install on my www.XXXX.com domain. I installed a second copy in a folder within the domain at www.XXXX.com/folder because I needed to keep the posts separate.

Last night I was able to be logged in at both and edit each from separate admin panels without any problems.

This morning when I try to login at the www.XXXX.com/folder/wp-login.php address my username doesn't work and it redirects to the primary installation folder at www.XXXX.com

Everytime I try to login at /folder it just redirects to the login on the primary installation. I can't seem to find any way around this and it kind of is boggling my mind because I didn't change anything while I slept.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Please note, I don't actually own XXXX.com > simply was using that to represent my actual domain.

Nevermind... had to hack up the wp-config.php a bit to force it not to redirect but I got back in.

I thing it's the issue due to .htaccess file. Please off that folder from the .htaccess file.

Try to look for the .htaccess on the root and the folder. Check also the "wordpress url" and "site url" of the wordpress on the folder. You can check it on the wp-admin or via phpmyadmin.
